I have received your Excy letters of ye 30th of May
21 July and two of ye 12th of Octob while
I was attending His Majty in Flanders and I
am heartily glad to find His Majties Charter
so acceptable gratefull to the People of New England as it
was is indeed calculated to their advantage
and true Interest. They have by their dutifull acceptance [of it]
made themselves capable of [his] MatyHis Majty their more
effectuall & immediate protection of which
is they will soon receive a most signall instance
I mean His Royall Assistance by Ships & men
for the subduing of Nova Scotia Canada which is
the design of this expedition agreable to your letters and the longing
desire your Excy has always expresd
for so noble an undertaking giving
assurances of the readiness of the People
under your Government to concur in all
things with His Majties Expectations [illegible]
